“Professor Falcón gets students to extend their learning beyond the classroom, balancing community engagement with course materials, and training students to be intellectually rigorous, self-reflective, and hands-on contributors to human rights and social justice efforts locally.”

Human Rights Investigations Lab for the Americas

I welcome the opportunity to work closely with students at the Human Rights Investigations Lab, in my courses, and on Qualifying Exam (QE) and/or dissertation committees.

Due to the high number of students I mentor, I require students to complete an online request form in advance to determine if I’m able to write letters of recommendation. Please be sure to plan for about 3-4 weeks advance notice for letters during the academic year. I do not write letters of recommendation over the summer. Please contact me directly for more information.

You can book an Office Hours (AKA Student Hours) appointment by contacting Professor Falcón directly.
